Ghost? Another topic added to the statistic.

It has been a long time since I've touched my blog... Hmmm... Inspirations take time to appear. I was chatting with my housemate today and the topic bout ghost, spirits, and the supernatural juz popped up of no where... Inspiration came in the form of my housemate...

I use hear a lot about ghosts and the unfortunate events of the supernatural. What are they? Are they real? These type of questions of
ten rise from our gifted thoughts and the answer is beyond truth. Basic answers are always believe and faith. These are serious and we really need to think about it. When we are alone, are we sure that we are alone? Think about it...

As written above, believe and faith plays a big factor. I always think that there is someone or something watching me. This is my believe. These things are lost souls who need help in order to get back to their world. What would you do when a deadman comes to you and ask you for help? Even I myself will tremble. That is why we are not gifted enough to see them. The ones who could see them are the gifted ones. Even if you are gifted enough to see them, can you fulfill their unfinished agenda? Remember "The Sixth Sense"? It was a beautiful movie that displays my believe in the real world. It is a simple concept, more of a give respect and take respect policy. We respect them, they respect us. Never fear them, or it might go the wrong way... You know what I am saying...

Some people say that they dont believe in such things. Can they prove that ghosts are not real? On the other hand, can the believers prove that ghost are real? There is some kind of energy but there is no defination for it. Is it God? Or is it our friends from the other world? We can't say as there is nothing to prove. I believe in God and ghosts; when there is postive, there is always negative; avery action has it's reaction.
Well, this is the topic that kept boggling my mind since I don't know when. Give me ur comments. I would really love to hear the feedbacks from you guys.

I guess that is all, c ya...

I am back!!! ASCS Food Fair 2007! A hungry beginning, a fantastic ending...

The name is Sharath Bani a.k.a BugS, coming 2 u live from C6-3-2, Cypress Condominium, Sg Long, Kajang (settings: fire-works all around with the spotlight right on my face... ha ha ha...).

It has been nearly 2 months since the last time i blogged. Coursework tests, assignments, and all other important but boring stuff have been a great factor of my ignorance to my site. Hmmm... I have nothing 2 say...

"UTAR, My Choice!" is written on the back of my uni's official t-shirt. It will b controversial if i comment on that! ha ha ha...

I m a member of the Asian Cultural Society (ASCS) of University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). We organized one of the biggest event under the society's label, the Cultural Food Fair 2007 with the theme "Getting A Taste of Culture" lead by the organizing chairperson, my senior n good friend, Siva. With the guidance of the theme itself, traditional food from the main cultures of Malaysia n internationally recognized food from Japan n Thailand r sold with a very reasonable price. Objective: To give UTARians a taste of the food that has been holding Malaysia's pieces together as a multiracial country.

On my part, i worked with the promo department to designed the poster, fliers, n the coupons; not forgetting being the emcee for the event. I did help out with the decor department n the technical department as a part of my "doing good for the society" concept. What can i say, I m Sharath Bani!!! Ha ha ha...

These are some pics that i took with my new K810i

The Indian Food stall lead by Miss Nithya. Lovely girls with cultural attires adding some spice to the naturally spicy food...

The Malay Corner lead by Miss Logeswary. A strong version of the "muhibah" concept while the food create a new definition of taste...

The Japanese and Thai Food stall lead by Mr Vignes. Boys n girls storming the front, showing the power of Asia to its best...

The Technical Team lead by Mr Murali. With DJ Don (Eyaz Fahmi, 3rd from left) and MC BugS (me myself, not in the picture though) making the whole crowd groove while munching, of course the spotlight is stolen... ha ha ha...

The man himself, Sharath Bani a.k.a BugS! Now tell me, whos tha man???

Pictures of the Chinese Stall lead by Miss Christal n the Desserts Stall lead by Miss Aswini could not b uploaded due to memory card error.

I took pictures with a lot of people but i cannot upload them because of 1 pic that cannot b posted due to strict parents... the person can even think that i was a malay... sigh... siapa makan cili, dia rasa pedas... hmmm...

It was a fantastic event n the Society Chairperson, Miss Karen Kasturi was more than delighted to see the results. Not forgetting the support of our lecturer in an advisory role, Mr Lawrence who has supported us all the way. 100% profit, u know what i m saying...

A group pic of the whole team that made the idea a reality... ASCS boleh!!! U guys rock!!!

The unity among our members for this event was more that good plus the food that was awesome... As the title reads, "a hungry beginning, a fantastic ending"...

Stress-releaser

I was thinking of writting a rhyme n getting a title, but couldnt get any inspiration... so, i sms-ed a fren asking bout her exams n she replied by saying that i m a stress-releaser... thatz a good title though... an inspiration indeed... here it goes...

With tha blessings of my idol, Eminem a.k.a Slim Shady, n the support of my inspirational title giver, I would like to dedicate this rhyme to all the dreamers out there... Remember, a vision of success starts with a dream...

.......
I look at the ceiling with my eyes wide open...
dampen by my thoughts, n my freakin imagination...
for juz a minute? hmmm... well i dont know...
for some time? hmmm... I guess believe so...

I found myself being a big time rapper...
Shady n 50 juz wanna get in to feature...
m i dreaming or what? m i rapping or what...
I m filled with stress n really need releaser...

mic test, bass check, system up n ready...
I see myself, and i ask myself a question...
Is this a freakin dream, or a damn sweet reality...
pity, i know i cant sleep, in the mid of insanity...

See it, like it, love it, juz believe it...
never ever try or think of taking it...
my life is mine and only be mine for the taking...
get another one or try to get it by faking...

The whole crowd love me like crazy...
suddenly all gone n i got a little dizzy...
i woke up n looked at the same old ceiling...
a stress releaser is what i need in me...

.......

this is kinda stupid rite? hmmm... i cant be a rapper after all... i wanna try something else... what about being a wrestler? sigh...

for tha love of hip hop...

Clash of cultures.

As u all know, i m an average indian dude from Kemaman, Terengganu. If u guys dont know Terengganu, here is some valueble info: A state in the east-coastal region of Peninsula Malaysia. It has a lot of natural resources n the best keropok lekor, I miss those... My thinking system is not that open, but it is usable at times... ha ha ha...

Hmmm... Kuala Lumpur... The big city, the spot of chances, blah, blah, blah... sigh... This post was inspired by the looks of Jln Bukit Bintang n i began to notice it on Friday, 11th of May when we were on our way home in Looi's car after clubbing at Ruums... I wasn't drunk, dont worry...

I do have cousins n relatives in KL, but the 1st time i came here for a long stay was when i studied in Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman. My house is dead far, imagine Kemaman n KL. So, i had to stay at the hostel... That was a dumb statement as it is so obvious... sigh...

I used to live in a very not-so-open condition back in Terengganu. People do say stuffs regarding certain westernize issues n the comments r really really weird. That was the guidance of life for me at that time. Here in KL, it is different. I had a cultural shock though...

Guys n girls living in the same house with no ties at all. I've never seen this back in Terengganu. In fact, i used to have bad impressions on girls with guy housemates. It was shocking for me n i used to wonder y m i at this place. Changes do happen n i m on the flow. Now, i m staying in a house with 2 girl housemates. Of course, not in the same room n i would like to emphasize on that, NOT IN THE SAME ROOM!

There are not much ball nites or dance nites in Terengganu. Most of it r organized by non-government organizations n it is all dinner-based. Think about it, the nearest situation where i could get near a girl was during the school photography session. This is so embarassing... In KL, even schools have their own ball nite n i do enjoy ball nites... U know what i m saying...

The question that differenciates the "happening clan" n the "not-so-happening clan" goes like "do u go clubbing?". To b honest, there is no such thing in Terengganu. There are golf clubs, mat rempit clubs, scooterists clubs, football clubs, n so on but never heard of the "club" in Terengganu before. Now, my favorite spot is Bangsar of course... Look at how spoilt i m... sigh...

I used to hear about cultural shocks but i didnt expect to experience it myself. Well, the city is a tough place to live. Competition has always been the core essence of living in the city, n i m one of the competitors. I have learned that the art of gaining experience is adapting to the culture n the environment of the place i m in at the moment. I m not saying that KL is the best place on earth, but my point is, every place has its pros n cons. We have to live with it n accept it in order to like it...

Ganu Kite!!!! ha ha ha... I still love my hometown though... There is no place like home...

over n out...

The past, the present, the future. Does this make any sense?

I see the future... ha ha ha... I was in the car with my fren and we were on our way to Serdang from Sg Long when I saw a head-on motorbike accident. The best part is, I dreamed about the whole situation 3 days ago. This happened to me for my Principles of Microeconomics exam last semester too, I dreamed about the paper weeks before the exam. This dejavu thingy gets me thinking sometimes. I guess most of us have this experience...

What is the reason behind this phenomena? Is this a sign of the future? No matter what research or experiment we humans do, this question about the future is beyond our inteligence. Well, Sharath Bani is starting to make some sense huh... ha ha ha...

Dejavu is a proof that the past, present, and the future of any object is written and it is going according to plan. This gives a strong support to the Law of Karma. Whatever happened, happening, or going to happen to us, are pre-planned according to fate and the fate we are going through is created by our own daily actions. It is like planting a mango seed, we get a mango tree; planting an apple seed, we get an apple tree.

There is an exception where we can fight our own fate. This can be achieved by the usage of our knowledge and common-sense wisely. During the 1930's, there was a massive volcano eruption in one of the islands of Bali, Indonesia. More than 32000 people died. The people there respected and prayed to the volcano. The government had given them the notice to evacuate, but the people refused to leave. The conclusion is, everyone living there are fated to die. Well, the ones who used their common-sense and evacuated earlier, lived on to tell us the tale. The living ones fought their own fate, what about us?

An illegal racer is fated to die in an accident. He can change his own fate by using his knowledge about safety and stop racing. This might save him from the mouth of death.

Sometimes, how cautious we are, we still go through havoc. Things will happen if it really needs to happen. There is no common-sense or knowledge in this world that can save us. Think about it, what you sow is what you reap...

Thatz it I guess... chiowz....

A small role, a big return, it was worth it!!! The IU day of SMKDU.

this was suppose to b written weeks ago but time wasnt on my side. hmmm... not bad huh???

The IU day or The International Understanding Day was organized by the Leo Club of SMK Damansara Utama on the 21st of april 2007 at the SRJK (C) Sungei Way hall. the theme of that show was "A world of dances!". i played a small role in the success of that event as i was the emcee of the show.

the show was fantastic! i repeat, FANTASTIC! i have no idea how a bunch of secondary school kids can organize this kind of show, but i have to say, they were awesome! of course, it was with the help of some adults from the Lions Club of KL Taman Tun.

the dances were plenty which includes cha cha, samba, hip hop, break dance, traditional, tap, contemp, n many more. the gals were hot too!!! ha ha ha... what can i say, i m a guy though!

i had my co-emcees who really rocked the stage. they were Jo Erh n Jia Yi. i had my cons in the beginning, stunned 4 no reason, slip of tongue i guess. hmmm... i juz cant help it...

salutes to the event manager, Adrian, for doing such a wonderful job. i m not forgetting Siew Wei on the technical side, Teresa on the event flow side, n my favorite, Victor who gave the emcees shocking changes on the event flow... he did a great job though... respects from me...

how the hell a uni student like me who had nothing to do with the leos got the emcee-ing job? here it goes... i have a friend named Charmaine who is a Leo. she recommended me to Nicholas, the OC of the event. i was then called by another fren, Su Wen, who asked me whether i can do it or not. well, i agreed. Nicholas then called me to inform about the rehearsal. i had to go, no choice i guess... sigh...

i had to take the bus from Sg. Long to KTM Serdang which takes me 40 minutes. then i had to take the commuter to KL Sentral, 20 minutes. then, i had to change to the LRT towards Tmn Bahagia, 15 minutes. cab to the place of the event, 15 minutes. time consumed during wait-for-trains stint is not included. i had to go through this for 3 days including the day of the event. i have to say, it was seriously tiring...

They had a post mortem meeting on the 1st of May 2007 at Lion Chu's place, the advisor for the Leos. i was invited. had a nice lunch at Chilli's with Adrian, Jia Yi, Siew Wei, n Teresa before the meeting. the meeting was to rectify things so that the coming commitee can do well... i had my share of comments, giving them a thank you speech which includes the congratulating statement for their success and i was given a souvenier as a token of appreciation... that is what i call sentimental... fu-yoh!!!

i used to wonder, why m i wasting my time, money, n energy doing stuff for this bunch of secondary school kids? thinking of it now, it was worth every minute, every penny, and every ounce of energy... Leos of SMKDU rock big time!!!

now, i m really starting to like the Pussy Cat Dolls... they know what i m talking about... hmmm...

the event has ended, but the ties will still go on... frenz foreva!!!

There is always a start in everything...

As a start, I would like to welcome my fellow friends, relatives, and the unknowns to my blog. I have to say that I have been writting a lot in friendster.com's blogging service and now I am shifting my stuffs here.

Well, life has its pros and cons and of course, I am not going to miss it! That is the reason I started this thing.

More than that, I have nothing to say...

Please do send me your comments and critics are most welcome.

Your sincerely,
Sharath Bani
